Proximity to local nightlife, spacious desk area, historical significance of the hotel
Noise from the nightclub interfered with sleep!!! Showers had poor water pressure!!! The entrance is awkward, requiring navigating through a café to check in!!!

The bed ws comfy and it was in the middle of the town. The hotel staff were really welcoming and one of the waitresses in Cruises Restaurant (Rachel, I think) was extremely helpful
The noise levels in this hotel are terrible. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone that wants a good nights sleep. Only choose this hotel if you are on a cheap, boozy night. Apart from the nightclub noise, we were woken very very early the following morning. I think there was a generator or something close by. Very noisy. The hotel is nothing flash but in a good location for hitting the town. Cruises Restaurant in the hotel was a disaster. There was a large group of us and nothing went riht with our meal. Food was cold, burnt, extremely slow and nothing special. Some of us had our main courses eaten before others had even got their meals. Would certainly not recommend this and it was very disappointing and embarrassing for the group organiser.

I stayed in the Queens Hotel for 1 night in April with my 12 year old daughter. The staff were very nice and helpful, giving us local information. The stairs in the hotel is in very poor condition, not just old but very dirty, how long would it take to hover! The room was clean, beds quite good but the bathroom was again in poor condition. We decided not to eat in the hotel, if they couldn t keep the carpets clean what else was dirty! The hotel location was great in the centre of Ennis, which is a lovely town. Will visit Ennis again but I will have to think about if I would stay in the Queens Hotel.

Unboxing my experience
The hotel's location is superb. Rooms are clean and bask in natural light. Breakfast is decent, yet service can be slow, even with few guests around. Be prepared for some noise from nearby nightlife-it can be quite lively! Worth checking if you appreciate a vibrant area.

We stayed in the queens because of the location and the price, the staff were friendly and helpful.
Booking this hotel you must be aware the noise levels from pubs and clubs go into the early hours of the morning (4am) for us it was fine as we were at a wedding and came back to the hotel late. Also with no private car park we had to leave the wedding every 4 hours to change tickets in our cars between 12 and 5pm!!!

Where do I even begin? The toilet in my room didn't flush well, and having no hairdryer as described was a disaster. You'd think a hotel charging €150 per night would have basic amenities! And, honestly, i nearly gave a good review but just couldn't after experiencing such negligence and having to wait for every little thing-absolutley unacceptable.

We explored fishing in Doonbeg and enjoyed the beautiful sandy beaches in Lahinch. The location is really convenient for outdoor activities. The Cruises bar is a must-visit for a taste of local charm and friendly vibes. Just be aware that the entrance can be tricky to find.
The biggest downside was the noise from the nightclub across the street. It kept us up late. The lack of air conditioning.

Central location. Cheap room.
Very noisy outside due to the nightclub but not an issue for us as we were out until late ourselves. Perfect as a good value place to stay if you plan on taking in the nightlife.
